Template Stamps & Other Products

Template stamps are rubber stamps that have both the cutting line and piecing line. Single stamps are great for charm quilts. It saves tracing templates over and over. The sets can be used for the enclosed patterns, or use your imagination and make several different blocks from the same set. Use the preinked fabric ink pads for best results. Brown can be seen on the back of most fabrics. White is available for dark fabrics. Reinkers are available for both pads. You can usually get at least one quilt out of a preinked pad.

Log Cabin Stamp
This new little stamp will revolutionize your “cabin” building. The stamp has all the lines to cut for the entire block, so one stamp does it all! The blocks have 3 “rounds” and finish to 4 ¾”, which will match with the Carpenter’s Star set of stamps. I loved hand piecing my sample. It was so easy that I could piece it in my sleep. But, it can be machine pieced as well. Remember to purchase a white ink pad if you are using very light lights as the brown ink will shadow through.

Sunflower Set
4 3/4" block
The four stamps included in this set will make the cutest little sunflower. This stamp has small pieces, so it is not recommended as your first project. But if you love little, this set is for you! (Pattern is included with the stamps.)

Stamp Basket Set
3 1/4" block
Based on the postage stamp that was issued in 1978, this cute four-stamp set will make you a “basket case”. So adorable, you will want to make more than one. Individual blocks make wonderful Christmas ornaments. (Pattern is now included with the stamps.)

Eight Pointed Star Set (Carpenter's Wheel)
4 3/4" block
This three-stamp set can be used two ways! Make the most accurate star blocks you have ever made or make the larger 9 ½” Carpenter’s wheel block. (Pattern for the Carpenter's Star is included.)

Sunburst Set
7 1/2"
This new 3 piece stamp set will have you using your scraps up quick as a wink. Cindy made her sunbursts and set them into a solid piece of fabric, so she could showcase her hand embroidery. This set is destined to become a favorite.

This set will also make the curve insets for the “Railroad Crossing” from her book, “Tiny Stitches.” (Use the large triangle and small triangle from the Star Toss Set for the flying geese units or machine piece them.)

Kaleidoscope Set
3 3/4" block
This set of two stamps makes the neatest work of the tricky kaleidoscope quilt. Instead of using triangles, Cindy uses a square for the setting piece. So simple, someone should have thought of it before! And the sawtooth border is made with the same stamp!

Sawtooth Star Set
This set will be your favorite! It contains 5 stamps: 2 triangles, 2 squares, and the sashing strip rectangle. You will be able to make the sawtooth star plus lots of other 4 patch designs (finish to 3 3/4”) as well as 9 patch designs (finish to 5 3/4”). This is the set I used for the Civil War Mini Sampler and the Nine Patch Civil War Sampler.

Washout Graphite Pencils
Cindy searched everywhere and finally found these fabulous wash out pencils for marking light fabrics. The best part is that they can be sharpened in an electric pencil sharpener.

Lady Finger Thimbles
I love good working thimbles and have been searching for one that will hold the base of the needle in place as I quilt and hand piece. The “lady finger” open top is the first thimble I have found that can replace the sometimes shallow dimples of my old open top thimbles and at a good price. And good news, there are only 3 sizes to fit! A small is the same as a 5/6. The medium is a 7/8. The large is a 9/10. These thimbles are rubber coated to keep the needle lodged on the side where it belongs. Try one and you’ll be coming back for more.

Valdani Vintage Hues
Many of you have been having a time finding the beautiful Valdani #12 variegated perle cotton. I am now able to have a few packages of this lovely embroidery thread on hand to sell. The package comes with 12 beautiful slightly variegated threads. Sorry, I cannot separate the packages.

Wool Needle Keeper
You have loved these little keepers since my sister, Gayle, has started making them for me. Now you can purchase one finished by my sister. They are made from real wool, not wool felt, and are hand stitched by Gayle, not made in China! :) They will hold your package of needles, thread, thimble and pins. I use mine all the time when traveling with my hand piecing. You’ll want more than one! Please let us decide the color.

Visual Mate Magnifier Lamp
I was introduced to this wonderful lamp by my friend, Susan. It hangs around your neck and plugs into any standard outlet. It has actually helped me in my stitching to see better and do better! I am sold on it and you will be too! I take it everywhere. I may look funny, but it WORKS!

Demitasse Spoons
Cindy uses this spoon on the underside of the quilt to prevent her fingers from being pricked while quilting. These thin spoons are easy to hold when hand quilting.

Richard Hemming Needles
These are the wonderful size 10 sharps that Cindy recommends and uses for all her hand piecing. You won’t use any other brand, once you try these!

Clover Gold Eye Quilting Needles
As recommended in her book, Tiny Stitches, these are the only quilting needles Cindy uses. Size 12 is the only size we carry. They are gold eye for easier threading.

Clover Patchwork Pins
These pins are Cindy's favorite for any of her hand piecing projects. They are long, very thin with a glass head.

Clover size 24 Gold Eye Chenille Needles
These needles are fabulous for Big Stitch and doing stitching with the perle cotton that Cindy recommends for her embroidered medallion quilts. They don’t drag like other brands and will thread easier with their big gold eyes.

Coats & Clark Dogwood Quilting Thread
This is a fabulous color of thread to piece your scrappy quilts! (Yes, Cindy uses Quilting Thread to hand piece those beautiful quilts!) This color blends so wonderfully with so many fabrics. Cindy uses this thread to piece almost all her hand pieced quilts.

Preinked Fabric Stamp Pads
These stamp pads are to be used in conjunction with the template stamps. A permanent ink that can be used on the back side of the fabric. Will not bleed or show through. Pads are available in brown (for most of your stamping needs) and white (for darker fabrics).

Refill Ink
The preinked stamp pads last a very long time. But for those of you that LOVE to stamp and use your pads all the time, you can purchase fabric ink to replenish your pads. Refill ink comes in white and brown.
